Today we are joined by Julie Mathers, the CEO at Snuggle Hunny, the Founder of Flora & Fauna and the Founder of Green + Kind…just to name a few of her roles! She is also a keen adviser to retailers and sits on retail aligned boards.

Julie is clearly passionate about retail, having worked in the industry for 30+ years, but where she finds true purpose is in building better businesses and making good choices - not just for the businesses she’s a part of, but also for the planet.

During our conversation today we discuss Julie’s latest role at Snuggle Hunny and how this opportunity came about, the big decision to move on from Flora & Fauna and what triggered the move, and her advice to women juggling their career with growing a family and how she managed to do this successfully with her team.

We also talk about the importance of sustainability and purpose beyond making money, and why customers expect this. Julie also talks about utilising the B Corp assessment to test how your business could join the community of simply start their sustainability journey, how she learnt about becoming a certified B Corp and her advice to anyone thinking of joining the movement.
